Our Story - From a Simple Idea to Essex’s Favourite Speed Dating Community

Back in 2018, two friends, Leanne and Lauren, spotted a gap in the dating scene across Essex. There were very few opportunities for local singles to meet in a relaxed, friendly environment, and what was available often lacked the personal touch that people were looking for.

Rather than waiting for someone else to create the experience they wanted to see, they decided to build it themselves.

What started as a small local speed dating venture quickly became something much bigger. From day one, our focus wasn’t just on helping people find romance—it was about creating genuine connections and delivering exceptional customer service. We wanted every guest to feel welcomed, comfortable, and excited to attend our events.

Over the years, we’ve worked hard to build relationships within the local community, partnering with friendly and welcoming venues that share our values. Thanks to the support of our amazing attendees, word-of-mouth recommendations, and a commitment to creating enjoyable experiences, our events have continued to grow organically across Essex.

Along the way, we’ve seen countless friendships formed, relationships blossom, and communities created. Many people attend our events not only to meet potential partners but also to expand their social circles and connect with like-minded people in a supportive environment.

Today, we’re proud to be recognised as the most popular speed dating brand in Essex. It’s an achievement that reflects the trust our customers place in us and the incredible community we’ve built together.

As demand has grown, so has our ambition. We’re excited to have expanded our events into Kent, bringing the same friendly, customer-focused experience to even more singles. Looking ahead, we’re also preparing to launch in East Sussex, helping even more people make meaningful connections closer to home.

While we’ve grown significantly since those early days in 2018, our mission remains exactly the same: to provide welcoming, enjoyable events where people can meet, connect, and have a great time.
